Well i mean age galvanized metal that is.
The coverage doesn t have to be complete or even on all areas of the metal piece.
The spray can be controlled to be heavier in one area while creating a light dusting of color on another area to depict the aging process.

I had to rescrub and retreat the buckets to make it all look old.
Spray the metal and allow it to sit outside for a few days to add to the aged look.
Clorox clinging bleach gel toilet cleaner i tried about 5 brands this worked best and regular old baking soda.
With a couple of common household products and a couple of tools you can get all aged up in minutes.
Since we are trying to do the opposite and speed up the aging process we want to weaken the protective coating as much as possible.
In some cases the oxidization process takes years in others months.
Make sure you get the labels off all the way.
I believe it s a safer way to age metal than harsh chemicals.
But you can get this process in only a few hours.
Don t worry about being too thorough at this point.
Tarnish verdigris and patina are all different ways that make metal and other materials look old.
As for chemicals you only need two things.
Mix equal parts water and vinegar in a spray bottle then mix in some salt 2 tablespoons per cup should be more than enough.
You can also use the left over treated water but make sure you add plenty of water so you don t burn your plants.
